^ channel amp vs. 6 channel head unit

Dumb question. I have a JVC head unit with 2 Sub preouts (L&R). My MBQuart 6 channel amp has 6 inputs for full range speakers. I want to use CH 5/6 for the single sub. The speaker wire to the sub from the amp is bridged between the two. Can I just run RCA cables from the 2 preouts to the 5/6 on the amp, or do I need to convert to mono? Thanks!

Yes you can. Just make sure input selection switch is set to all channel input. Are you using channels 1-4 or just want to use 5-6?

I am using 1-4 for 2 way speakers. Do i set the filter on amp to LO for the sub?

No need for that. You are using sub output from the radio, so the signal is already filtered for subwoofer output. All sub control will be from the radio, so that will be easier to adjust on the fly.
