Can I still drop the other side down to two ohms on a Sony 1100 watt monoblock amp since there is actually two places to hook speakers up it's only one channel but there's two places pos neg pos neg
yeah I have a blown voice coil that's what I'm saying can I just run one and I know it'll be half the power but can I run one and still drop the other one down or do I have to run it at four ohms alsoIt honestly sounds like you have a lead problem or that one voice coil is almost blown.

Using one coil its fine till he gets a recone. What kinda retarded dislike is that. It won't hurt anythingPost numbers and/or pics

Yeah getting it fixed is the plan bro but I figured it out today it's Christmas money's tight and I wanted the neighborhood to know I was coming so it'll work until I get whatever replace the speaker or the cone or whatever thanks for your all's help though for realBecause he has two subs. You can technically run a single VC, but it's not the right thing to do with 2 subs, at all, IMO. He needs to get it fixed, that's the real solution. No offense meant.
