You're relating a voter risking prison time for an extra vote (out of 79 million) to a council member who directly profited off his fraud. The council member probably thought he could get away with it and net 40k, the voter if they thought they could get away with it would still be inconsequential. I never claim fraud to not be the case sometimes, but the rate is incredibly low because it takes an incredibly brainwashed or stupid person to try it for such low payout.Shitty reason or not, happens all the time. We just had our THIRD city council member, in as many months, get arrested for accepting a $40,000 bribe. Ruined his and his family lives for 40 grand. Pretty shitty reason to go to jail...Now, do I expect anything to come of the fraud? No. Everyone is being played. In order for the fraud to make any changes would require the entire election to be dismissed and voting would need to take place again and that simply isn't going to happen. Doing so would be the death blow to the American way of life. The confidence in ANY vote going forward will be severely undermined. It would be devastating to the country.

I'm not either, I'm annoyed by the speed at which they claim there's fraud. If you're going to investigate it then do it, but don't make your own conclusions and spread misinformation all over the world before you know a damn bit of anything. If it was closer I would understand the hesitation to declare a winner, but it's not even remotely close so it comes off as petty...
