Calm down Mel.
Nice. No, Mr. tree rat called me an anti-Semitic prick. I never said anything bad about Jews that I can recall. I may have said Jesus was probably a trouble maker once and that's why he got nailed but that was just an opinion on Jesus... not Jews as a whole. If anything I am cool with the Jews because they tend to be the more funny comics. Lighten up.

lol I don't know man, I think he might have confused something Kush said with what you said because you've both got subwoofer images as your profile. I just see Mel Gibson's face every time someone says something like, "What's wrong with Jews?" lol

I am all for Legalizing Marijuana. Fake war on that drug and only illegal because of the lumber industry back in the 1930s.

As someone who is disabled I would LOVE to have Medical MJ here but because of the GOP Legislature and Senate...I.E Fitzgerald and Voss they refuse even though people in the state want it, including a lot of the Republican base.

I would use it because I would rather use that stuff then pain medications all the time. When you live in a daily pain scale of 5-7 every day and that is on a good day...you need something to help. Thankfully there is CBD here and it helps but not on the scale Medical MJ would.

But this is a Whooooooooooole another discussion, lol.

Back to your regular programming!
I’m a libertarian. I get accused of being a liberal and a conservative all the time. I’m a social lefty and a fiscal conservative. And I have disagreements with libertarians also, especially on public schools and private prisons. It’s hard to put myself in a box, which is why I am an ex-democrat. They love boxing people up into group think.

Show me a place where making drugs criminal has worked to stop drugs, and my position on drug decriminalization will change on the spot. btw, decriminalizing and legalization are 2 different things. I’m not for legalizing all drugs.

I can sum up the parties of interest very easily in this country...

Independents aren't moderates... Their interests lie in direct contradiction to what the powers that be want, which is bu

There's always a chance of fraud, but it's a really shitty reason to go to to jail. The reality is the rate of fraud is minimal, something like .0025% (3,750 per 150 million votes). Even if you were naive enough to think no fraud is for Trump (despite telling supporters to vote twice), do you really expect the election to flip from fraud? lol... In fact it's so minimal that we basically hear about every case of fraud (and lately a lot of cases that aren't fraud). When you trust people who tell you there's widespread fraud it's unfortunately up to you to verify the numbers and you obviously have never done the legwork on that. Oregon for example has been doing mail-in ballots for many elections, plenty of data for you to pick through if you care enough. Feelings over facts appears to be the predominant Republican motto now. Who would have thought the anti-science party would succumb to bullshit?
Shitty reason or not, happens all the time. We just had our THIRD city council member, in as many months, get arrested for accepting a $40,000 bribe. Ruined his and his family lives for 40 grand. Pretty shitty reason to go to jail... Now, do I expect anything to come of the fraud? No. Everyone is being played. In order for the fraud to make any changes would require the entire election to be dismissed and voting would need to take place again and that simply isn't going to happen. Doing so would be the death blow to the American way of life. The confidence in ANY vote going forward will be severely undermined. It would be devastating to the country.

Decriminalization does nothing more than have no consequences for ones actions.

No, this is my bad and I sincerely apologize, I thought I was posting to that purple kush dude. I humbly ask for your forgiveness. You aren't the anti-Semantic prick, he is.

I didn't take it personal. Fagetaboutit.

"I believe in decriminalizing drugs, open borders, reigning in the police state"

Pretty much saying you are a democrat without saying you are a democrat. SMH The only one you are trying to convince you are liberal, is yourself.

Why do you care if someone ruins their life with drugs? The consequences of being a drug addict is that it ruins your life. So, what is the function of imprisoning someone for a victimless crime? Just spite? And before you bring up that drug addicts steal or use violence for drugs, stealing and violence are both crimes already. I just don’t understand wanting to put people in prison for having something in their pocket that doesn’t affect you.

Good luck with that.

Trump's admin investigated it and found virtually nothing and then he stopped talking about it. At this point you're just rehashing "Trump's greatest rally hits" and pretending it all played out exactly like he said. How's the law going to be applied? You sound pretty confident for someone who's been running from specifics about as much as a student who didn't read the homework on literally every post on here. Good job drawing a distinction between Trump supporters and people who have brains though.
Georgia has a recount.
They found evidence in Penn and Arizona as well as michigan.

Are you seriously saying you don't understand how life works?! Sure it affects me...and you, and everyone else that pays taxes. Do you think that ambulance ride is free? Do you think the emergency room doctors, staff and all of the specialized, life saving equipment is free? It costs money. Monies that aren't paid are written off. Monies not received by the tax man means he'll get it from other places by raising taxes. That's one thing.

Another thing is, it is meant as a deterrent. And it used to work until all the bleeding heart, participation trophy award winning kids grew up and decided it wasn't nice to be jailed for having fun, doing hard drugs. Drugs that possibly, more likely than not, someone was killed along the way or has given up their life because they are in jail, which costs more money. Insurance rates rise...yeah, you lose more money in the grand scheme of things than you do in the short term by taxing hard drugs.

And another, junkies generally don't have jobs, have more than 1 kid by more than 1 baby momma and that means, most probably, welfare, food stamps, medicaid, child & family services for them which is...you guessed it...more money.

If the junkie wants to stop, hell yeah, I'm all for funding that to help, but I am unwilling to fund a lifestyle that is being thrown away, with no motivation to NOT do drugs, no motivation to attempt to better themselves.

The point of life isn't to just stay in a rut, it is to constantly challenge yourself, to improve yourself, as a human being.

In short, "why do I care?" Because it costs ME fukkin' money I have better use for...ME! If they want money, let the go out and scrape their way up. I did it. Anyone can.

It costs that money already. making it illegal didn’t help you save any money. It just imprisoned someone for having something in their pocket and hindered their life forever because of it. hey, there’s a guy doing drugs over there!!! Let’s save him from ruining his life.....by ruining his life..

Ruining his life or saving his life? All depends on ones perspective. Not to mention let's put the blame where it belongs, squarely on the user. Had the user not made the conscious choice, there is no ruining of a life. We now know you want, and expect, failure. It's very sad how the world has come up with the plan of rejecting responsibility for ones own actions as you seem to strongly advocate. I can only explain it to you, I can't make you understand, though.

why not just let the addict suffer their own consequence and learn their own lesson? That IS putting the blame strictly on the user and letting them fail on their own. Imprisoning them is a half assed attempt at either ridding society of what you consider trash, or a self righteous attempt to control another adults bad decisions, as if they’re children. I can only explain it to you, I can’t make you understand.

You funny. Dumb, but funny. Last time, Einstein...Leaving the junky to his own devices is fine, no one cares. It is condoning the drug use and subsequent loser life that is the problem. Take the blinders off. Big world out there. Try to look further than your toes.
