I have installed a lanzar 1800 watt amp with a 12 inch crunch ground pounder sub. All of the wires are just recently put in and my amp will not turn on. I can't figure out what is wrong. The lanzar logo lights up on the top and it makes no sense. If anyone could provide some help that would be great.

Yea I have a line out out converter to the mid console. It's a 2008 gmc sierra so it's got the stuff in the middle. It runs on RCA cables.

Signal is everything... throw a loc in the equation and you're handicapped from the start.

Even a cheap $75 deck is miles above a factory Hu... loc or not

So the loc is the problem. The guy from kicker said it would work though.

My friend said his Kicker comp 12's blew out his windshield too... I had to say that... sorry
This does not help with my amp not turning on. I need to figure out why it's not even getting enough power to fully start. I'm sorry I really just don't care about your friends windshield. If you have info about my amp that would be great.

Then you have either a dead loc or the sense wire is connected wrong. What model Loc do you have?

Lotsa Loc experts on here lately... someone will chime in

If you have RCA signal, proper voltage at remote terminal, power, a good ground, and it's not working then the amp is dead.

Most LOCs are trash though. In a 2008 vehicle I would just go to an aftermarket head unit.

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M

That is correct. I like these as they are twisted pair and the RCA ends are thick and grip quite nicely...
