I am full of hate? I bitc about everything because I am not on the left? Really? What hate specifically? Do I say I hate all cops and we should defund them? No, that is a left thing. Do I say we should tear down statues and erase history? No, that is a left thing. Do I bitc and complain about Trump being President all the damn time? No, left thing. Do I point a hateful finger at everyone and say you are wrong and hateful and a racist? No, this too is a left thing. It seems to me that if I am not on the left I am actually the opposite of all those things. The typical response from the left is usually hateful name calling so I expect nothing less.

People arguing over the same issues their parents or their parents parents argued over. Meanwhile nothing has really changed. The politicians get into office over these arguments and promise change. Left right blah blah blah while the majority of us fall somewhere in the middle. It doesn’t matter who’s in office nothing has really changed not in a good way anyway.
I just hope the people who really needed that stimulus check figured out a way to stretch it out.I’m sure it wouldn’t of been much different with that so called other party at the helm. It’s a 1 party government when it comes to real issues.
anyway it’s annoying watching people get more and more divided. It’s annoying watching the middle class shrink. It’s annoying watching the so called leaders continually policing other countries. It’s annoying watching them spend billions on the military and then driving through any of our cities and seeing people living on the streets. The fact that one stay at the hospital can put you in debt for the rest of your life that’s annoying but it’s really annoying seeing people arguing over republicans and democrats.

The biggest divide aren't between well-held positions, polls show we agree on more than we disagree on. Politicians on the other hand know how to brand it to be against our interests. Medicare is probably the best example of this. The majority of republicans want single payer, while something like 80% of democrats want it. Neither Biden nor Trump can deliver on this because the money is all that matters in Washington. The people who support single payer openly are miles ahead of those who don't simply because it's against the status quo in the beneficial direction of the people. There's a few other issues the spineless ones won't touch like climate change and job transitions for coal miners, but you're right it's both Republicans and Democrats. Generally I find both parties have a few outliers who give a poop, but they're the exception not the rule.
With climate change a rational republican is Mayor Dale Ross. With single payer I don't know of any, but I'm sure someone recognizes that private insurance and pharma is ruining the nation. Taking out the overhead and negotiating as the only game in town against those greedy fuckers is the only way to fix it short of pulling their patent if they gouge. Plus hospitals get their bills paid on time all the time.
What you often find when you break down issues that everyone can understand is that it's easier to divide people by class than by anything else, which the media always defaults to as a distraction. Billionaires hiring millionaires to tell the middle and lower class that they need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps if they want a crumb, while completely ignoring their boss paying nothing in taxes. Fox has done about 100 stories on random homeless people trading food stamps for beer and no media company has touched the new wealth divide coronavirus has caused or that lobbyists are filling up entire questionaire halls at city councils and public opinion forums to generate loop holes that nobody else can argue against before it's passed.

I hate that GM didn't put a sight glass on their automatic transmissions that don't have dipsticks. Motorcycles have sight glass for oil with no issues. Come on! No, I have to raise the car off the ground while keeping it level, remove a bolt and if it drips, I am full up.

Quoted for almost 7k dollars on hail damage. Waiting to see if the insurance company is okay with that, but yikes. I was about half way through a sound deadening project that was going well too.
