What annoys the ***** outta you/pisses you off...

******* check engine light came on. So I plug my BT U-Scan dongle into the OBD-II port but this time it says... Error Unable to Connect. I said ok, maybe my BT Dongle has shit the bed. Bought a new wired OBD-II reader. Error, Unable to connect. I bust out my O-Scope DMM and connect to pins 4,5 and 16. There is 12.5+v at both grounds pins #4 and #5 with key off and on. So the port is getting power and none of the sensors are faulted at pin #5. I am a little aggravated.
 
Its not an uncommon problem. Look it up in the interwebz, im sure theres an easy solution.
Oh I looked. Like normal, a bunch of people saying the same obvious suggestions and bunch of people stating the obvious. The only sensor I know to be faulty for sure in the downstream O2 sensor on the firewall side of the engine. It may have let go completely and may be causing an issue with the ECM. This may not show an issue at the OBD port as it goes to the BCM first. Looks like I will be under the car on my birthday Friday to change that damn sensor. The car is running like a champ though. ******* shit ***** sucks .

Well early happy birthday. My only plans for Friday so far is an opthalmologist appointment at three.
