Will my old amp work with my sub?

I have an old Rockford Fosgate 160x4 punch *****.ana amp. And I just purchased a P2D4-12 single subwoofer. I have a image from the 160x amp manual on how to do a mono connection, but I just want to make sure my ohm impeadance is proper for the DVC. So just to clarify I’m making sure my setup will work with a single sub in this amp. Also since it’s DVC I would have to wire it a little different than he diagram. Thank you

Doable? Yup. Recommended? Nope. 4 ch amps aren't meant to drive subs, mono and 2 ch amps are.

So its either a 2channel bridged ran in series at 8ohm for 4ohm a channel for the 160x or I buy a mono amp right for 2 ohm stable load. Thank you

Might I suggest the RF Prime R500X1D - It is 500w Rms @ 2ohms. Amazon has them really cheap. Comes with a remote knob and the amp is proven and reliable... and inexpensive.
