Ok so I was already to buy some entry level sundown Audio 12" subs after hearing so much about them on various forums and YouTube videos. I was only aware of the mainstream brands like Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Pioneer, Kicker,JBL etc. prior to learning about sundown and the other great but not as well known brands. So after confirming that I would get more bang for my buck I began to research sundown, incriminator, ssa, fi and few others that seem to be the rave amongst bass heads I literally called Down4sound to order sundowns and they were pushing the incriminators on me. So I've learned since jumping back into car audio that research is necessary to achieve the sound you desire and not but some bullcrap that wont last or take and handle any real rms power that I'm trying to push. My main reason for this post is that I am all for Made in the USA products and I read that sundown (even though they're great products) outsources to china I'm thinking maybe that's why d4s was pushing the incriminator cause they're made in the USA. I'm super serious morally about buying our own. Do you think I'd be missing out on a very good sub by staying American made or, is it true like I've read that sundown, incriminator and, some of the others I mentioned aren't to far from being equivalent to one another? Just dont want to make another bad purchase like i did with the blown kickers that I paid the same price as some nice sundowns incriminator, or DC's costs. As soon as I put the right power to them well within their supposed rms range they lasted the weekend and by that Monday on my way to work it was a done deal with those kickers. I'm literally going to go with whatever one of you guys suggest because you've given me the right advice up to this point so if you read this lmk what you think. My price range is $300 to $400 for 2 12" subs that can handle anywhere from 500 to 750 watts rms. Please dont beat me up over the low rms power that what my amps are rated at.
