Oh, and I've never personally heard any speakers on the dash that I found sounded natural.  I'd disconnect that personally but do what you like there.

I'd say any of those components should make you happy.  If you're going with Alpine amps why not do their speakers all around for aesthetics?  Possibly even squeeze a package deal out of the dealer?

Otherwise, that JL flat sub looks incredibly well built and I'd say it's likely top of the pack as far as shallow subs go, but you are still just super limited with that type of driver so don't expect w7 tier results out of it.

Well worthy of consideration in the sub department is this:  https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-ls10-44-10-low-profile-subwoofer-dual-4-ohm--295-251

Price seems very fair and the Dayton subs are typically very highly regarded.  I've used Dayton mids and tweets in the past and been very pleased with them... don't let the low price fool you, they make damned good sounding drivers.  There is a 12" version of that style as well.

Have you started looking at DSP/Factory integration solutions yet?
No I haven't even approached that yet. I have definitely thought of going all alpine for that reason alone haha.  I had a cpl 10 w0 at one point so I am hoping the shallow sub would be similar but I dunno.  That is one thing that keeps me coming back to the stealth box or something similar under the rear driver side seat.... Any other thoughts on this? Are there other options beside the jl stealth box?

Well the JL is certainly going to give you a great product, you're paying for in house R&D and manufacturing which certainly has some value and of course you're paying for simplicity of not having to build a box yourself.  BUT... you are paying pretty big for JL and I think if it's just a matter of putting something in a tiny sealed box to cover 80hz and down just about anything outside of the gutter brands would get you about the same place especially if you're going to be investing in an OEM integration solution with some heavy processing/EQ power.   Really not sure if I could justify value in the high cost of JL for that application myself, then again, I'd never buy a vehicle that didn't have space for bass.

That said, I'd never be in the market for off-the-shelf box+sub nor would I even consider putting myself in a position where I need to rely on shallow mount so I can't say I have much of an idea what's out there in that department and I'm guessing most of the other fellas on this board would go custom I don't think you'll get any great answers on what's out there around here apart from which brands should be avoided off-hand.  If it were my truck given the limitations of not being able to yank the back seats entirely and walling it or doing a cut-through I'd be looking to do something similar to the SSA build posted here with some beefy 6 or 8" drivers.  Something like that in a good custom box should outperform anything you could do with shallow mounts.  Generally you'll do better with smaller diameter high excursion drivers than big cone area with limited excursion, but of course high excursion comes with big mounting depth.

Have you measured precisely the working space you have?  Does JL make a box tailor made for that interior?

Looks like Fox Acoustics makes a box that would fit behind the back seat and hold 2 10s.  Is anyone familiar with this box?  It also looks like some car audio places have made custom boxes for under the rear seat that will hold 3 JL w3 10" subs.   What do you guys think about these 2 options?  I am guessing the fox box will be more economical but the custom box would sound way better? Would the fox box sound decent tho?  I had a MTX thunderform box for my 06 ram with 2 10s that sounded decent, would that be comparable?

So I was getting ready to put 3 jl8"w7s under the rear seat, but then I decided I don't want to go to that much trouble sooooo I am going to go with the JL stealth box  under the rear drivers side seat.  For the front doors I will be going with Morel Maximo 5 components, the rear speakers will be Morel maximo ultra 502 coax, and i will be using an alpine x-a90v 5 channel amp.  What do you guys think about that?  There is definitely something to be said for simplicity I think and I really can't afford to have my truck down for 3 days 100 miles away while the place I was looking at built the box and did all the install for my set up.

How's this coming along?  Pics?  Solid equipment choices, and if the JL stealth box isn't enough for you you can probably get a fair resale value out of it and audition something else.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, turns out my 12 yr old needs braces so I guess my money should go to her teeth rather than my truck at the moment haha... I will probably tackle this in the summer, I will keep you guys updated!  Thanks for all of the help!

Well, there is always a bypass that can be McGuyvered. So next time you want to tackle that task, post it. We can help.
