As I post this pic The National Museum Of Brazil, 200 years old, holding more than 20 million historic artifacts, is burning to the ground. As a history buff this is heartbreaking.

Cant say i've ever seen one that big. But I get quite a bit on the front of my car. Dragonflys too.   Did you get an opportunity to encounter our state bird the mosquito?........  lol

Over half my life was spent living in Florida. There are some insects down there that will straight up freak you out. The roaches (palmetto bugs) can and do get over 4.5 inches long. There are red ants down there that can walk off with your dog.

Claire Wineland died today at the age of 21. Her parents were told she wouldn't live past the age of 5. She's was born with cystic fibrosis and had a massive stroke last week after a double lung transplant and was taken off life support today.

Nope.That pic was taken @ Jacksonville Zoo. Did see a roach tho...luckily it was behind glass. However, I think I remember seeing a few large roaches at night at a restaurant a few yrs ago that scattered across the parking lot. My wife cannot stand them. They aren't meant to be liked tho!
