That should be easily attainable. Off the top of the head get a pair of AQ SDC's and a AQ 1200 and you'd be well over 130 in the right box.
Or you could go with maybe DC lvl 3's or Fi Q 18.

I have a 2001 dodge stratus, but I would probably fold down the back seats and face the subs towards the front of the car. I would prefer to push around 150 db if possible

So you could probably do a pair of 12"s, with the port off to one side.
x2 on that.
You'd have to do quite a bit of work to get around 150. 140 could be attainable if you burped it, but probably not on music with 1000 dollar budget.

You could easily do upper 130's possible low 140's system for a grand. Heck Im doing a 151 with a $650 setup

Ya ok since you can get those at Walmart... The main part in your setup is how its built. Not the subs or equipment... tardthat's a strange set up... I'd prefer non walmart subs
