zx750.1 @ 1 ohm???

How much power will a zx750.1 put out at 1 ohm? Also, how do these handle 1 ohm daily? My birthsheet says 886 @ 2 ohms, if thats any help.

most of them can do 1 ohm with the right electrical =)

I remember reading a thread somewhere with testings on wattages at one ohm on the 2500.1 and from what I remember it loses efficiency at 1 ohm. so i can only imagine that that amp would do the same as well.

Theres no guarantee it would do 900w at 1ohm, and it might fry your amp. Why take the risk?

Not a good idea, its like driving your car at redline vs. 2500rpm's down the highway.

A 750.1 will run about 900 watts at 2ohm.

if the amp's specs doesnt say its not stable at 1 ohm then its not a good idea. even the kicker zr amps which were stable at 1ohm produce more power @ 2 ohms then @1ohm. if you dont care about the amp and possibly want to get more output for a few moments then go ahead. most times the amp wont live too long in doing so. but you dont always get more power. more distortion for sure though.

I ran mine at 1.67 consistently, but I wouldn't go much lower.
