Zedaudio amps?

I've got 2 from the last generation Zed/Lanzar Optidrives.

I guess I've been running them for about 4 yrs now.

I seriously doubt I'll ever change amps.

They'll give you more than advertised power, do it reliably, and include a nice set of controls.

If you like the industrial look of the new ones I would personally consider them among the best amps available regardless of price.

What do feel an upgrade over your Alpine would bring?

The biggest thing the upgrade would bring is more power. When I go active, I'll only have 40w rms to my fronts, and would love to kick it up a notch.

Not many people run Zed, and outside of the forums very few people know who they are. Stephen Mantz does no advertising and lets his products speak for themselves.
That being said, Steve Mantz is the Godfather of car audio amplifiers for a reason. Anyone that has had hands on experience with them will tell you they are some of the best amplifiers currently being made. If you have any doubts, call up Zed and talk with Steve Mantz directly. He is usually more than happy to help people out and point them in the right direction for what they need (whether it be a Zed amp or not).

Sundown makes some great amps as well. I've been beating on a SAX-100.2 and an SAX-1500D for a while now and both have performed flawlessly. You really can't go wrong with Zed or Sundown.

I agree, not to mention I have and had a few ZED built amplifers. All very good.

reading this is why i'm picking up a us acoustics usa6300 6 channel to drive my front and rear stages. hopefully i like it.

Hopefully I'll be running some soon. I've had a chance to meet up with Stephan Mantz and all I gotta say is. He made me feel so dumb. lol His knowledge of what he does is overwhelming. Very pleasent guy to talk to and he would go out of his way to help anyone. Customer or not.

I still have a bunch of Hifonics Series VII amps, maybe 10 amps, all made by Zed. If it wasn't Zed made, I'd probably sell them.

can't go wrong with zed audio amps, i too have plenty amps made by zed. its hard to change once you hear great quality sounds.

I own a Draconia amp that is used for a SLC front stage and a 10" JL. All I can say is I am very pleased with the output and clarity from this amp.

I dont blame you, he is very cool and I wish I could pick his brain and learn what he has learned.
