Yeah. Not for long. This amp swap was a huge mistake.

This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten screwed by a forum boner.

I was pushing it a few clicks harder then yesterday when it was just as hot. I’ll try it again and see what happens. If it goes again I’ll get a fan.

well, many good amps suggest fans.... but youd thin that such needed fan would come from the faactory

I got a long drive today and it’s going to be hot as balls again. I’ll try it without the extra clicks and see what happens. It’s loud enough without them, at least for my needs. I never had to push the DD this hard. I probably should have gotten the 6 channel and bridged the mids

I can add this on for the tweeters and bridge the 4. That should be plenty to not have to run them full tilt. They are mounted upside down but there is plenty of airflow.

At 24/30 it’s fine all day long. At 26/30 it thermals.
