If this is true then why do NHRA funny cars use ngines that have cylinders almost the size of a basketball to produce their 4000 HP?

i was being sarcastic, the bigger the better, that's why you don't see top fuel dragsters with 1.4L VTEC's

i think it is a fair omparison. speaking strictly about engines squeezing HP is squeezing HP however you look at it. how do thoughts on the subject differ so much. one says more gasoline in the engines are better for big power one says smaller.
