yur all gunna think im nutz

this is not the first small car that ive put a large engine into,

i als have a 1988 chevette 4dr.

about 2.5 yrs ago i dropped an L-88 350 out of a corvette into it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

with the 4-spd auto 350 ******, this little "chorvette" has 367 HP @4500 rpm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

@ 140kph, on the highway, if i stomp on it, the rear end fishtails until i hit 190kph, which takes about 2\3 seconds, i get painted to the seat, lol

i beat NEW CORVETTES, AND MUSTANGS all the time in my "chorvette" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif , and the geo will be even faster when its done.lol

i don't know much about corvette's, but i heard that the older ones didn't have much hp at all. my uncle bought a 88 z-28 with a drivetrain from an 88 corvette, only has 170 hp.

not 1988, not year,

"L-88" engine model

& sry my mistake not 350,

its a 427ci

out of a 1968 L-88 Corvette

just dynoed yesterday.

513ftlbs of tourqe @ 4,200rpm

514HP @ 6,200 rpm

by the time im done, it will have a 2.8L EFI V6 turbo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif , under the hood, lowered 3", shaved handles, 17" x 6" american racing rims with z rated rubber, in total somewhere in the area of 300 hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

let me know what you guys think
Dude i think thats great thats what i wanna do with mine put 15s on it and a spoiler 2.8 but you could fit a smaller v6 in it a 2.3 that comes out of corsica and would a v6 fit in a 92 2 door hatch and how much does mine way mine is mint in and out i got it for 100$

i dont know if the 17 will fit if you might need spacers and take out wheel wells. the 2.8 i dont know if thats real reliable but ive been thinking

I think that is some Kickass shit your doing to that Metro... finaly nice to see someone work on something other than honda's.. but i have one question for you how are you going to get the front wheels to stick???? with that much HP/ Torque and that light of a car, those Tires are gunna be brutal to hook up? are you going to put some MT's on it?

Originally posted by Jmac No, you can't ... The only reason why we took it up the mountain was because my buddy had sold the car and the guy had already payed for it. Hence, mountain climbing the day before the guy came to pick it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Lol...I was gonna say...

Did the guy still buy it?

- Steve

if i were u, i would be layin low instead of *****ing at people, cuz from the sounds of it, your already not liked by anybody on this forum. second, it's my oppinion, i don't care if all of you people like geo metro's, i hate em, horribly unreliable, and u might as well ride your lawnmower to work, you'll get there faster. third, i don't think your in any position to be dragging with your 20" rims. fourth, if you'd like to continue, go to the flaming section.

horribly unreliable, yes, at least with my experiences with them. my cousins friend has one, it's always broken and in the shop, and she bought it near brand new.
