Your thoughts on how i should set up my stuff?

I currently drive a 97 monte carlo with a jl audio sealed box holding (2) 12w1v2-4ohm subs. I mounted the JL 500/1v1 amp on the back to power them. I recently sanded down some metal part right behind my rear seats for the ground. For the power wire I got some cheap schorce or w/e wire from walmart which I am considering replacing. I also have the walmart av wires, and that lil' blue remote wire. The power wire is run on the driver side, and the av/remote on the passanger.

I have JL TR690-TXi 6x9 3-Ways in the back, and VR525-CSi 5.25in components in the front. I got the crossovers kinda under the dash (crappily of course). All of the speakers are being run off the Kenwood KIV-BT900 Head unit power.

I recently purchased a JL 300/4 to power the speakers, but now i'm indecisive on a location/wiring. The three spots I can think of are: Right next to the 500/1 in the trunk (so a dist block would be close), under the driver seat, or under the middle of my dash there is a space that could be filled, though I may put in a Kenwood disc changer in the future somewhere.

Where should I put the 2nd amp? I'll run new speaker wire to the speakers from the amp, to where ever it ends up, and the front two will be the first two channels, and the back two the other two. When I run the speaker wire and 2 new coax cables, should I keep it away from the power cable because of distortion? What gauge power/ ground wire is best for this setup, because I think mine could be bigger? and I think the distribution block is the way to go with the power cable, but should the two wires coming out of it be a smaller gauge? and also for the grounds should I run two separate ones for each amp? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want it to be done right :p

Lastly, I am looking into the big three upgrade. Should I do it for the 800w? I know a lot of people live by it, and others don't think it makes a difference. It's just going to **** because my battery is right underneath the washer fluid reservoir, and has side terminals that are hard to access. Thanks for any help!

Agreed. Keeping the amps together allows for shared power and grounds. Under seat locations are more prone to damage and moisture. Under seat does help reduce wire length. I don't like amps under the dash, not a good place for heat.

We like to keep RCA cables separate from power wires. Cheap wires have little to no shielding, which could be an issue, though not likely. There are other noise sources in the car to be concerned about, pumps, computers, etc.

If you reduce power wire size. You need a fused distribution block. 4awg in and out doesn't need to be fused.

Grounds should be short and low resistance. Distribution is not needed for grounds, but ok to do if I makes sense.
