Your Super low budget build opinions.

Pretty much everything....wiring , sub , box , amp(s),main speakers front and rear, head unit, crossover/eq...sound deadening

Im more trying to get a generalization of what people are using and works from the generic brands..I know it wouldn't be anything amazing but looking for the best of the low budget market.

I have a vision of what im going to do but need more feed back on some decent items..In other words are any generic brands making an impact and considered decent for the money.

Any decent X overs out there?

Any decent Amps?

etc.....

Im seeing a lot of brands that I only could find in the low dollar flea markets back when I lived in Miami (Boss, Pyramid, etc.)...but now that many are carrying these brands whats decent and whats still garbage???

Basicly im asking if anyone had $500 to spend what would you/they consider from the lower end brands?

When I was on a tight budget I started with just the sub and amp (The amp I bought was a mono Alpine MRP-M500, BTW I still use it, great amp around $150, there is other good options out there). Once I blew the speakers I went out and bought good speakers, etc. and replaced everything. I definitely wouldn't by boss, not a fan, but if your like me I just did little at a time! I remember when I bought a power acoustik and it was the biggest waste, got extremely hot, didn't give much power, etc.

if you only have a budget of 500 your best bet is to go used and buy check out your local craigslist and check other forums as well , make sure the personn your buying from has a good rep 100% good luck budget i recomend ebay you can find 1500 watt rms amps for around $100 , there are plenty budget brands that will work great

Thats just wayy to much to do anything other than flea market junk for 500 ..my advise is save up some money or buy piece at a time
I agree; If all you have is $500.00, you need to get a part time job and save up; Even if you could purchase enough items to satisfy a complete build, it would sound like complete garbage

look at the vid in my sig budget build status!!!
lol...nice...not sure I want to destroy my trunk though at any price range, lol....Looking for sound quality with some bass I can hear/feel inside with a lot of styles of music.

Im looking at maybe a 250rms sub/box/amp set up with some low dollar component speakers and crossovers and either a single 4 channel or 2- 2 channel to power the mains..maybe an equalizer as well.
