I have 3 of the Red Tops wired up, the IB3 18 is LAUGHING at the Lanzar OPTI2000D that is rated 1100 RMS @ 2ohm. When I try to give it more, then she gets pissed cuz it clips to beat hell. Keep in mind, most vids during the 18Hz tone are unloading but kept within limits via SSF, mine is just about at tuning... reducing excursion. I had all the doors all the way open because it wants more power, especially with the doors shut.

Umm... that's not tuned at 15hz, that's for sure. Your cone is moving much less around 30hz than it is around 18hz. It has quite a bit of excursion at 18hz and I would guess your actual tuning frequency is below 15hz. It's either that or your long port and enclosure are acting like a 1/4 wave resonator changing resonance points of the system.

You should play a sweep from 5hz to 40hz and see where the low excursion point is.

Oh, and my single 12 can handle playing that 18hz note flat with the rest of the bass lines.... well minus the 7hz part as it pushes it too far mechanically.

I might have to snatch 2-4 of those 15's, their only 189 and dont take a boat load of power to push, wonder if i get 2 single 2 ohms now could I recone em with the 4's if i grabed 2 more later
