if i were you, i would buy one of the 1G iPhones and use winpwn 2.0.0.3 create your custom 2.0 firmware so you have Cydia and the app store with all the features of 2.0. Thats what i did on my 1G, its really cool. You get all the apps apple wouldn't allow into the app store as well as neat little apps in the app store. There is a version of customize out for firmware 2.0 so you can basically mod the UI completely to what you want. As for the plan, im not a good person to ask, as i have unlimited minutes unlimited data and unlimited texting for 53 a month.
