So when I DID google it, and post that the KKK was founded mainly by white southern separatist Democrats, all you can come up with is "they changed" with a bunch of exclamation marks. Nice going. Clearly you know as much about the KKK's political ties as you do about the UAW, jack shit.

And in any event, you still failed miserably, as your attempt was to solidify that its republicans who are traditionally, morally, and unquestionably the racist party. Even if the KKK is 50/50 politically these days (and not saying they are, just to give your latest guess the benefit of the doubt), it still shows 1) Democrats are just as capable of racism as republicans, and 2) you are so strong in your convictions, that you wont bother looking up facts before spouting off at the mouth on a topic you clearly dont know much about.

So now you shift your stance again. Okay, you wont dispute that the KKK was founded by democrats (because you CANT), while simultaneously neglect to accept this means dems are just as capable as republicans of being racist. But oh, only dems 145 years ago.

Ulysses Grant, a republican, is credited with killing the KKK with the republican Ku Klux Klan act of 1871. So that 145 years is now dwindled to 130 some odd years. Still a long time ago, right?

Woodrow Wilson, also a Democrat, is credited with promoting the resurrection of the KKK in the early 1900's via the movie Birth of a Nation. 145 years is now down to 90 years.

I guess you also didnt bother to find out Harry Truman, a Democrat, was a prominant figures in the KKK. So now your 145 year theory has shrunk to, what, 65 years?

And if you had bothered to look up your claim, you would have also noted that a former KKK recruiter, Robert Byrd, was elevated to third in line to the presidency (and, of course, a Senator) in 1980. So your 145 years has now dwindled to 30 years. Even less if we include the time this former KKK recruiter continued to be a US (democratic) senator.

But I guess your vast knowledge of the KKK, based on, I dont know, the fact that 'several' republicans in your area are racist, has somehow uncovered evidence that in the past 30 years, the KKK has done a 180 degree turn in its party affiliation. Evidence you ... forgot ... to post.
