if he didn't want to do e-bay i doubt he'll buy off the forums. of the ones listed i say go with the orion. it'll do more then 1200 watts. you will get 1200 watts out of the hifonics, but why buy a 1500 watt amp if you are not going to get 1500 watts? the directed is not too shaby either. how about a kicker kx1200.1? i've seen a lot floating arounf that have been benched at over 1500 watts rms. i've also seen the ED benched at 1500 watts but i would be leary of ED.

Any other suggestions then? Why would you be leary of the eD? And where are you seeing the Kicker 1200.1 for under $350?
there customer service sucks. it's harder then hell to get them to service things. they overcharged me $20 and i had to argue with them for an hour to get my $20 back. they also have slow return times on there warranty service. they had a bad sub design or some shit like that. i think they sold subs that they new were no good. do a search for elemental designs. you'll find the dirt.

Alright... I guess I will stay away from eD. I am looking for a amp to power my subs at 1 ohm and it needs to push out about 1200 watts. Any other suggestions? Where did you see the Kicker amp so cheap?

Oh Ok... Well I have 740 dollars to get a mono amp for my subs, a 2 channel amp for my comps, a set of comps and a set of coax. for the rear. So thats what I have to work with. Also I want the two amps to be made by the same company. Sorry, didn't mean to throw all this at you guys at once.
What kind of car is this going in? If its not a really big car i would suggest not getting any coaxials for the rear, and use the extra money for the other stuff. I turned my rear fill off and like it a lot better that way. I like directed amps. My visonik has treated me really well, but i don't know if you can still find the v900xd because i'm pretty sure that line has been replaced.

It is a Ford Explorer, so I would really like to keep my rear fill. Even if I am in the front, I want the rear to sound good too.

go to sound domain store and get tantrums.the sub amp will NOT run at 1 ohm, BUT you can wire each one to 8 ohms and bridge it to get 4 ohms wich i think icetee will tell you runs at almost 1500 watts. you can get a matching 2 channel one for like 130 and the sub one for like 350. do price match with them and look at the zeb. theirs was 370 and i did the price match and they said i could have it for 348. but its still to much for me. just ask ice tee about them

does sounddomain still carry tantrum amps? i thought PG discountinued the tantrum line. anyways every tantrum i've seen was benched at over 1400 watts rms at 4 ohms. mine is 1494 and i've seen some at over 1500. you don't need rearfill. i have a jeep grand cherokee and if you have a good front stage you don't need it.
if your willing to do e-bay you can get an avionixx 1200.2 for $169. it does 1200 watts rms bridged at 4 ohms. also an avionixx 440.4 for your front stage, i'm gonna be getting one tuesday. they do 85 watts rms x4 @4ohms. those can be had for around $150 on e-bay.
