I've owned numerous us acoustics amps, but have switched out b/c of different power requirements. They have solid build quality and three year warranties, what more could you ask for. Also, power ratings are @ 12.5v iirc (or 12.9v), so if you're getting 14.4v in your car you'll be getting a little more power. I'd suggest the 2000d, IMO...the $80 more for the 3000D isn't worth it. The 2000d willl be a nice solid amp, and serve you well! peace

would you take a tantrum, the orion 1200 or viper 1200, i can also get a directed 1100 refurb for 220, and new 1500 directed for 315
