I Have A Kicker Kx1200.1 Its A Good Amp... What Do You Guys Think Would Hit Harder... 2 12's L7 Or Just 1 15" L7? I Heard The 15 Heats Up Is It True?

There's several factors to consider, the 2 12's will have more surface area to move air with than the single 15 as well as two motors running to dissipate heat build up. If you were to give the 12's their proper space, and proper power (not even sure what L7's call for wattage wise, I know nothing of Kicker) I would imagine the 2 12's would bump a good bit louder.

But again, not terribly familiar with Kicker.

L7 calls for 750, but can take 1000 all day .

Single 15 IMO... Will be just the right amount of wattage for that woofer to get loud daily, as long as u got it in a big ported box. The 12s will be underpowered and i don't think the small cone area advantage will make up for it.
