Yet to find a ground in the rear

well are we talking the seats dirrectly behind the driver, or the ones in the rear? ( which are folded down, with my box ontop of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

and it has about 4-8 bolts or so on each seat, do any of them work usually?

Yes, as long is it is touching metal. But you need to sand the primer down to bare, shiny metal. Make your ground and then re spray that spot with some primer. (to prevent it from rusting)

That should be more than enough ground for 1k.

 
Also, if you have not done the "big 3", now is a good time to do so.
Yep i have the wire for it, just need to get flux ( iron free ) and whatever solder, not sure what kind yet >.
