Yet to find a ground in the rear

Hey,

2005 Toyota Highlander, looked around everywhere and can't find a good ground for my amp in the back.... any suggestions? i do NOT want to drill

run it to battery it's much better then back ground. or use seat bolts

See if you can use one of the rear seat bolts or even a seat belt bolt. They will have a good, solid platform to hold a tight bolt.

Just remember to sand the paint down to bare metal. After you make your connection, spray a little primer on it to prevent rusting.

If i have to re-sell the car later i don't want that there..

If it is bolted to the body, it will work just fine. As was said though, if you can, run it straight to the battery.

If it is under the interior trim, it will most likely never be noticed.

Well i don't have enough wire to go all the way back up to the battery, as i would like to do that it sounds much easier!

total power for both amps is well under 2k rms.... BUT my battery will be much closer to my amps then drilling and going to the chassis thats why i ask

As long as the chassis is grounded well to the battery, you can ground to the chassis in back using a seat belt bolt or seat bolt and you'll be fine. The electrons will return through the chassis back to the battery.
