Yet another set of comps for 200 bones

Im looking for some comps to finish my install. I just received the alpine 9835 head unit, and currently have two RE HC12's. Im looking for some 6.5" with good midbass, and was told the CL61's whould work well. I have about 75-100wrms to power them with. Since the 61's are on back order, i found a set of CDT CF HD, High Definition, 6.5" speakers components . The seller is willing to let me have them for 200 shipped. Are these any good and is this price decent? There supposedly two months old or so, still in new condition and work fine.

Or should I spend the 200 on something else. I did notice the cl61s only have a 3/4" tweet while the CF HD's have 1" tweets. A plus i imagine.

You can get a set of infinity's for less than that. Circuit City (i know not the best) had them on sale for 150.00 brand new.

I used to have a set from PB Audio (power Bass) They sounded really good, and they were under 100.00. I know they are not an MB Quartz, but they are 200 + cheaper, and sounded close.

IMO no infinitys will compare to those CDT's, i liked the HDs a lot, havn't really reserached much as far as pricing, but 200 doesn't seem too bad.

definetly go wit cdt's i have a piar of them n a friend of mine has a pair of infinity's, they cant even compare to my cdt's trust me u wont be disappointed

hey well if you do decide to go infinity i ahve a pair of 6.5 kappa perfects that can handle 75 watts. My new car does not take 6.5 speakers. I will sell them cheap.

That price is what they sell for new, so I would just pick up a new set.
