I keep having tons of problems with my Grand Cherokee......the other day my cd player started cuttin on and off and the interior lights were flashin and the HU would not stay on.....my sub amp would stay on though, does this mean my HU might have a shortage or is there a wiring problem?

How do you have everything wired...sounds like a loose connection in the fusebox, as the direct connection to the battery is fine.

I have the stock amp hooked up to the remote of the HU and my sub amp hooked up to the acc. wire becuase it wont play with them both to the remote on the HU., is that what your asking?

could be a blown fuse. when i had my grand cherokee i tried to avoid that electrical system at all costs. i had nothing but problems. alarm going off for no reason etc. what year is it?

It's a 95 and u have helped me on several of my probs and like u said the electrical system is such a pain cuz ill ride down the road at night and turn my brights on and the hornk honks and it is so so aggravating and confusing, ive checked the fueses under the hood and inside and they are all fine.
