Yeah I was aware of that but it takes a good while to foreclose on a property. If you didnt come up with the money by then you probably werent going to be able to.

It's funny how people can pay my father $2k real quick to extend the inevitable 6-8 months, but refuse to pay their mortgage. People have eyes bigger than their bank accounts.

you get foreclosed on...you get kicked out. No excuse, you don't pay, you're out. A lawyer can extend the time until this occurs, so you can rip everything out of the house, but you eventually leave.

Usually within 90 days.
