ya another tint question

ya it looks bad ***, to bad only shop around here that will touch the windshield wants 130 just for that.

Well I got smoked headlights so my light decrease is already bad enough. I got HID's under the smoked headlights to. Only problem I ever has is back roads with no lights or reflectors in the road. Thats it. Like dark roads with not a single person driving or any lights on them is the only problem. if I didnt have smoked headlights I would go with 5% on the windshield. I say if you have HID headlights you can do like 10% and still see fine.

im thinkin about doing mine 20 or 35 just to keep the dark theme

ya, i found some guy who tints out of his garage that will do it for 70. my cousin is gett his done by him so well see how it turns out.

does anyone know the tint fine in Michigan? i've looked but have not found anything. just bunch of forums of people saying they got pulled over for it.

Not relevant, but Im getting my 06 GP tinted on thursday, 13% all the way around excluding windshield, should end up nice

ya should look good. tint makes the car look so much better.

i guess my question is they lay the tint on the exterior as opposed to the inside.

Tint goes on the inside. If you see it on the outside they are cutting it or heat shrinking it.

If they DO apply it to the outside..Id start worrying.

so i went with 17%. i was going to go with 5% but my cousin called me this morning and told me he got ticket for his 5% tint driving back home from the tint shop and we live by each other so i was n to going to risk it. 17% is not dark enough. but its dark enough where you can the shadow of someone in the car but cant really see any details so i like it. ill post pics tommorow. got home from work late.
