Ha! I just got tint done on my Lancer Friday and today I got pulled over on the highway for it! 35% in the front 20% in the back.

... i dont think ive driven in rain at night with it....

However i have HID's in my highs lows and fogs.... And honestly, you cannot tell from the inside that the window is tinted @ all.

Realistically, i could drive with 5% windsheild and be perfectly fine.

Hey not trying to jack your thread or anything but about how much do you guys think it would run me to tint a sedan, all around even the moonroof 5% (including the front windshield)?

the place that is going to do mine is charging 220 for a sedan. but they wont even touch the windshield. for a coupe 180. but since i already have the back there charging me 60 bucks for the front windows.

Nope... specially highway/state cops.. they will ef u in the A for window tint

ya ive called around and most places are 160-250. i went with the one walking distance to work so i could drop off the car walk to work and pick up after.

I had 2.5% on back two doors and rear on the grand am, 35% on the front's. Ended up getting a dick cop (state hoopie) and had to tear it ALL out. That or he said I was getting a $200 ticket (rather spend $30 and a day retinting it than get that ticket). Ended up calling DMV the next day, and in ohio, front windows (not windshield) can have 50% tint, windshield nothing (cept top 6" or w/e), and everything behind the front windows can be whatever you want.

Thinking about doing double 2.5% on the rears, and like 40% on the front, like 60% on the windshield. We'll see

ok, i read through alot of this, and went to a couple of shops today...

$190 for a dodge durango, all the way around, 9 windows, how dark i want it doensn't change the price, 35 all around vs. 5 all around, $190

I'm doing 5% over factory tint in the back, and 15% on the front, here in NV you can do whatever darkness on the back, then 35% on the front, but windows down/cracked ftw

look up the laws, just like good 'window tint laws' and plenty pops up

and badass red truck

also if you want to bargain, go shop to shop, and go "hey shop 'b', shop 'a' just quoted me at $150" that shit works

sounds like a good price. for 9 windows. out tint law is basically nothing on the front windows. i think its something stupid like only the first 4 inchs can be tinted.
