ya another tint question

I put 20% on my car today and it isn't that dark during the day.

20% all around? No, it isnt super dark during the day. With the rears being darker you shade out more light so 15% on the front appears darker than it is. Also depends on interior color etc.

5 percent is what u want. i was doin the same thing u are i was like i dont want it too dark but i want it dark enough uc ant see me. just get 5 you wont regret it. at least i dont. i might do double 5 on the sliders.

ya thats what im thinking. but i got to find out the fine for tint in michigan so i can see if its worth haveing to rip it off or pay the ticket.

well if its like that than i think i should be good because i have %5 on the back and a dark color interior.

That is 15% on the fronts. I always did 15% on my friends vehicles. Every person Ive ever done 5% on the fronts has been pulled over and had to strip it off. 15% is dark enough to appear legal, but still give you the darkness you're looking for.

ya I'm probably going to get the 17% than cuz i don't want to get pulled over for it.

i have 5 and my buddy has double 5 i guess it depends on where you live but i doubt ill ever be pulled over for tint.

99GT - Reguardless of u having a lighter color, your still illegal either way you look at it. If your going to roll around all day with windows up, its going to be dark either way. I have double 5 in the rear and 5 on the front 2... 30% windhshield and a 5% strip half the windshield and i have never been bothered by cops.. why? Because if you crack the sunroof or roll your window down and light gets in, you can barely tell the windsheild is done. IMO go dark because when ur cars out alone and u dont wanna ppl to see in, a cop isnt going to write you a citation while parked

However, when it is rolled up, mine is dark as *$#@

99GT - Reguardless of u having a lighter color, your still illegal either way you look at it. If your going to roll around all day with windows up, its going to be dark either way. id go with lower than 20 on the front cause i have 5 ony ll my rear windows but put 20 on the front and regret it alot you can see in no problem with my 20. i have a little scion xa btw and the 5 on mine isnt that dark really i think the people i got it tinted from gave me the wrong stuff

I have 20% up front and stock window tint on the rest of the windows so it's pretty much like 20% all around. The fronts do look lighter due to the windshield.

I don't think I would my car that dark. I bet it's not fun when it's raining at night.
