Xtant amps anyone?

Anyone have experience with Xtant amps? It seems sweet, don't know much about it other than the owner's manual. Opinions greatly appreciated.

ive heard they are great amps, a step up from mtx as far as i know, and mtx's are great amps too.

I talked with a very knowledgable high end car audio shop owner today, and my amp is apparently a pre-MTX buyout unit designed by the engineers that all bailed at the buyout and went on to build JL's slash series among others. So, after reading the owners manual (who'dve though of doing that!?) I learned, this amp is pretty friggin' sweet, and real clean. Hopefully it will fit where I want to put it, and 200w will be enough for 2 old-school Solobaric 8's in a sealed custom fiberglass box. Unless I don't get enough low extension, then it'll be a DLS Iridium 12 I think.

200 watts is not enough for 2 solo 8's of any kind. you need a good 500 for a set of s8d's at least.

you think? These are the old single 4ohm voice coil solos, I figured I'd give them a try, as I have them in a crappy box now (well built just uncarpeted & sealed.) I scored the amp for free, and it was running an 8"sub, though I didn't get to see what kind before the sales weasle snagged it (out of the used car I was working on & found this stuff in). Ideally, I'd rather have 500w for them, but a free amp of very high sound quality is worth trying. This amp is rated at 200w into 4ohm, though I have heard it is quite underrated. I also like the fully regulated power supply as I have a small alternator, so I probably won't need a cap. What do you think?
