xtant 1000.1 vs. tsunami D1100.1

which is better?

The xtant costs twice as much and I was wondering is it worth it or will I be happy with the tsunami. I will probably be running a single xxx 15 or 18.

Hell I can get the d1800 for cheaper than the xtant 1000.1 but will the will it perform as good?

This is incorrect, as you can still purchase all the Tsunami amps directly from their storefront. I'm really not clear on where this story about them being sold on eBay got started, but the amps are still for sale on the eD site.

I would have to agree with the other guys on the Tsunami. Granted, the difference between the Xtant and the Tsunami would be noticeable, but I don't think it would be that noticeable to justify that much more money. Xtant's X-series amps are some of the best amps on the market but who wants to pay that freakin much for an amp. My god the 1001 is about a grand isn't it. Wayyyyyy too much for my blood.

If I knew I could get an Xtant 1001 for that price I would definitely go with it. Nothing against the Tsunami but a 1001 is a terrific amplifier. There is a reason it normally costs wayyy more than Tsunami. Its up to you of course, but 5 c-notes for a great amp that normally goes for 10 c-notes is what we call a steal. Go for it. Just my opinion of course.
