XS battery question

I bought my 1st XS battery today a 3400 and wanted to know can it be put directly into my truck or do I need to charge it? If I do can my everyday basic car battery charger work? I just wanna make sure I'm not going to screw up a $300 battery and get the most life out of it. Thx

If it's a d3400 yes you can. But check voltage with a dmm first. As for the charger make sure it works for a Agm battery. Or it may over charge and damage the battery

Charging it first would be best, but yes. Make sure the charger can be used on AGM batteries.
