XS Batteries

That's not a single Batt either
By single battery, I was referring to my battery bank in the trunk. I do not need to prove anything to anyone. I know what I run, and I know what my voltage sits at. I have nothing to gain or lose by stating the facts. If you choose not to believe me, it is your choice. I've been running this setup for over 2 years with no electrical issues, and will continue to do so unless I decide to upgrade in the future.

Amps are 2 SAZ-2500s, and SAX 100.4 for clarification.

The demand created by strapping them at 1 is much more than if I was strapped at 2. For a brief period before I got my E.A. alt installed, I had the amps strapped at 4, and had virtually 0 drop whatsoever, unless you count the brief tenth of a volt I may lose for 1/2 a second here and there.

So your saying you dont know how much power your putting out, what ur rising to,etc so you could be rising to 5ohms and doing a little over 2k and u think ur doing 5k+. Ur just talking because your a nutthugger, ur right you dont have to prove a thing to anyone as long as ur happy, but until you can provide numbers, vids, etc, please run along and play somewhere else.

Like I stated before, show me one person that runs a true 10k on 2 of them or a true 15k on 3 and then we can talk

Since you seem to be so knowledgeable on the subject, you would know that music is dynamic. You should also understand that rise depends on frequency. I am not ignorant to these facts, nor do I claim that every second my amps are making 5k. You would also not ask for clamp numbers when I clearly stated what my voltage does on music, because you would understand that clamping amps on music is pointless.

In any case, If my 5k sub stage was making 2k worth of power. I would have 0 voltage drop with a 300 amp alt.

Edit: In the near future I may waste the 90 dollars on a Deka group 31 battery just to do a drop in test, and see what the results are like. If my voltage is the same, I will eat my words.

I've had my 2 xs D3100s that are a 17 months old sitting outside for 2 months now. Voltage on both are sitting @ 12.74

And my D3400 is 2 1/2 years old and is sitting @ 12.69

Both of them were sitting outside on a piece of would. And for the last 2 months its been 40 degrees at night and sometimes 60s during the day.

Seem like good batteries to me

If a Batt only last you a year you did something wrong, whether you want to admit it or not, a battery will work as it should, and if u bought both new both warrant at least a year warranty
I disagree again. It's not rocket science to wire batteries...

I should also add that I live in south Ga, during the summer time it gets hot here and even hotter inside vehicles. Ideal storage temp for any AGM batt should be around 65-75 deg (f). I'm willing to bet the heat killed off my old batts, which sparks the question... Why havent my XS Power batts died off yet?
