Xplod 1200watt vs pioneer 760 watt

Ok Brady.....as DbFan kinda mentioned earlier, it's not very good to run two different subs. Is there any way you could maybe sell them for a little extra money? Cause, if you can come up with ~$200 (the $110 you have for an amp + whatever you sell the subs for + maybe add a few bucks to it) we could set you up with a pretty decent budget system.

y isnt it good to run 2 different subs and i wanna know which is better the 1000 watt profile or the 1200 watt xplod

other then the fact they are rated for different power (obvious)..they are actually made different. they are going to work best in different enclosures, they are going to be made outa different materials and that's going to affect their sound based on power and enclosure..and they could have different voice coil impedence and configuration. and some of that is just for starters....

the profile or the sony? flip a coin.......though i would think that the profile in this case would be the better choice. once sony did away with their mobile es line, they did away with their best stuff.

The Profile is better.......but it's not good to run 2 different subs because they will sound completely different which will likely result in very muddy, poor sounding bass. Just realize I'm trying to help ya out here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif IMO you'd be much happier selling those subs, buying two matching subs or even a single sub of (likely) slightly better quality, and a decent amp to push them (like Profile)

i would stick with that cvr ... it's better than the sony.. so you'd be wasting your money and time by doing all that... just because you have a sony deck you don't have to match everything up... it will still sound fine if you have different brands... keep the kicker...

like squeak said...keep the kicker...sell the sony.

buy the mono block profile ....wire the voice coils in parallel on ur cvr (red to red, black to black) and tehn run the red to the + side of the amp and the black to the - side...but it in a 1.25-1.5ft^3 prefab enclosure

then start saving ur money to buy ur new audio stuff one piece at a time...
