X305s Issues Can anyone Confirm??

I have an Alpine x305s that I have had for about a week. It keeps dropping the usb connection. What I mean by this is you will be driving along listing to music off your ipod and then bam it will stop playing and it will say no usb. The only fix is to unplug the ipod and plug it back in. I have contacted Alpine but they said there is no issues with the deck and that it has to be my ipod. Funny thing though it worked fine with my clarion vrx765 and my wife's Alpine deck it works fine as well. Anyone else with this deck having these problems???
