Help! JVC KD-r601 keeps resetting itself!

Recently I have bought a brand new JVC KD-r601 head unit.

I followed the instructions and installed it fine and it works perfectly. However, it fails to remember the options I change (such as disabling demo mode etc.) This is quite annoying as I have to change all the options as soon as I start my car

I've looked for a "save settings" button but there isn't one. Any help please?

your 12 volt constant is not hooked up right may have it and the ignition wire switched.
