wwc 1500.1 west coast custom

What about ppi are they as good as they was 10 years ago or have they went to crap to
there are a couple of PPI amps that are good. The PPI Black Ice 1800s are nice budget amps though they stopped making that model and went with a "New Gen" of the amps and produce a BA5000.1(2500rms) and BA7000.1(3500rms) Ive never seen any test or info on the 5000, i do know the guts resemble a soundstream rubicon 2500(so id say it does about 2200 @ 1ohm if its on par with the rubicon). i have seen some clamp vids of the 3500s tho. The Ba5000 is rated 2500rms @ 1 ohm and the Ba7000 is rated 3500 @ .5(doutful that it will do it but i think it would be more like 2800-3000).

I seen one video on the 3500 that did 2103rms clean VIA oscope rising from .5ohm to 1.3 i think and it did it at 12.3ish volts and its rated 2300 @ 1 ohm so thats not to bad IMO.

Yeah I heard it has the same gut as the mb quart just haven't use this brand before just wondering if it was worth getting for my 2 infinity reference 1262s
It's a decent amp. 300-400 is harsh. It's probably in the 500w rms range at 1.

PPI (a lot like Sounstream) is clearly NOT what it was 10 yrs ago. Their cheap lines are true entry level - a little over-rated in some cases, but decent, and generally good buys. ATM, I don't think there's anything from PPI that ISN'T "entry level".
