well im lookin to upgrade my system and was thinkin about the solo x's possibly 2 12's or maybe 1 18. i was wondering if any1 seen them in action and how good r they.

also thinkin of goin wit jl w7's or eclipse titanium.

im lookin for an all around sub, good spl and superb sound quality

any suggestions??

but they are more of a spl woofer than sq

i wouldnt go as far as saying "good sq"....maybe not complete sh*t but not good either.

the titanium and the jl will kill the solo-x in sq and the get loud too

buddy of mine just got his solo x 12 installed. in a box designed by Pete from Team Toxic Bass. it drops really low, down into the upper 20 hz range, Hair tricks arent a problem. I was actually mighty impressed with it. The SQ wasnt bad...not great, but not bad. Go with one of the other choices though. id say the RL-S, like 80 said.

well i really wasnt thinkin of goin wit the solo x but i def wanna get the eclipse titaniums. for the price of 2 w7's i can get 3 eclipse titaniums. as far as air space i got around 5-6 square feet to work wit in a lincoln mark viii. i was gonna make a fiberglass box and make it custom and tune it right. i got a rockford 1500bd to power the subs so thats plenty of power for anything pretty much.
