WTT:Digital Designs Z1a (Not Working)

I have a Z1a that I recently bought from a friend. It was working fine on my DD 9512g (Dual 1 Ohm wired @ 2) until one day my fuses popped. I don't know what happened but I checked everything in my car to see if that was the problem but I found NOTHING. Then I opened up the amp and NOTHING was burnt, smelled bad or anything in that nature. So, I redid my wires and popped in another set of fuses and they pop again. This amp has never dipped below 13.3v so yeah. I'm pricing the repair right now, but if I can get a good trade offer then I might just let it go. It comes with the box and manual. I'll take new pics and I'll post em up later. Right now, I'm just looking for an amp that can drop down to .5 for burps and at least 2000+ rms @ 2 ohms. Not looking for anything else other then that. $300 is the MAX they charge for repairs. I had my Z1 fixed from them and thats their exact words. Btw, if that's a Z1A for $750 then that's fukking KRAZY cheap for a 6000+ Watt Amp. Still entertaining offers. The guy with the Orions was supposed to send me pics but hasn't so I'm guessing he lost interest. Let me know what you got and I'll let you know.

If the buyer wants, I can have it shipped to Amp Repair Center and give them your address to ship it to after its repaired. The repair is $300 including return shipping. I'm not trying to rip anyone off but I ain't gonna give up body parts for it either. Like I said, the $750 that ARC was asking was KRAZY cheap and you will NEVER see a price like that AGAIN! There's still 1st gen Z1's going for that price.

I had the opportunity to buy one for 650$ a little while back, then the one from arc was offered to me for under 700$... so i won't consider paying more for this one than i would have for those working ones.

Its a point you'll NEVER find. You loss out on 2 mean deals on a Badass amp. I'd rather work on a corner for $500 then to take a loss on this amp. Thanks for taking the time to look at my thread though.

i sold a ma h10k and now i have an ab 500.1. i am looking for some amp i can beat the crap out of.ab puts out most power for everyday listening at a 1/2 ohm!that is what scott offered me for 750 a z1a dd amp.hell thats cheaper what jeese from dd would give me!i am the guy from usac finals that ran 20 u.s amps vlx25! 1st place 301-600 watts class!

probably because someone sent it in and couldn't afford to fix it? When he sells amps like that he just tells a couple people. If your in that loop then maybe you can snatch it up, you clearly are not.
