wtfAvic n4 head unit Stolen

some bastard broke in through my sunrooof!! it was open overnight. i was crashing at a friends place, in an apartment complex. no camera's, was just at the lobby asking for camera footage.

look like the *** went in through the sunroof, and took his time removing it as no one would be able to see him through the tint, the bastard even fished out the ipod cable that was routed into my glove compartment, that alone prob took him 3-4 minutes!!! also took the map dvd's, but couldnt find the hideaway unit i guess.

getting another pioneer flip out today now, cant go without tuness in the jeep.

if anyone sees an avic n4 head unit on ebay or whatever with a larger that stock chrome metal bass guitar control knob as the head units volume knob, please lemme know

Yeah I have had nightmares like that too, but usually my car is parked in the garage.

Sucks about the n4 and Ill keep an eye out for one (I really want a n2/n3 myself)

i have full comprehsive insurance, but im not going to do insurance on this.

no, you can bypass all that parking brake bullshit in dvd hu's by grounding the parking brake wire from the hu's harness and adding a lil toggle switch in between the ground and the harness.

takes 5 minutes.

there are other ways as well

doesnt your alarm have the shock sensors though? i know that if my car was shaking a bit the alarm would probably go off and i have sensitivity all the way down.
