Alright here is my situation... i have been lookin at buyin a RF t8004 for my speakers, but just recently i have noticed a little "problem" as i see it...

The RF T400-4 gets 60 watts X 4 at 4 ohms

http://rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=2&series_id=104&family_id=107&item_id=107995&locale=en_US&p_status=

the RF T600-4 gets 100 watts X4 at 4 ohms

http://rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=2&series_id=104&family_id=107&item_id=107997&locale=en_US&p_status=

BUT

the RF T8004 gets only 50 watts X 4 at 4 ohms....

http://rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=2&series_id=7&family_id=24&item_id=95247&locale=en_US&p_status=

this doesnt seem rite to me especially since there is a huge price difference betweens the t400-4/t600-4 and the t8004 AND they are all made by RF

(now i realize that at 2 channels and 2 ohms it has way more power but im gonna use it to power 4speakers and later upgrade to just two expensive compenents.. just so i dont seem like a complete idiot)

there is probably something really stupid that im missin and im gonna feel like a retard.. but i dont feel like blowin money if i can get more power for cheaper ..

please check out the site for youself see if ya can help me make sense of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

RF T8004 uses lower rail voltage and rated for greater current. It's stable down to 1 ohm on each channel and 2 ohms bridged. Other two amps stable at 2 ohms / ch and 4 ohms bridged. If you ask me, T8004 will be a waste of money for 4-ohm components. And it's heavy as hell.

alrite so since there isnt a typo and the t8004 is just retarded should i just get the t600-4 for my speakers instead... and im gonna add that the t8004 is just fuc.kin wierd it doesnt make any sense the at 4 ohms it would be a big old ****** like that it should have more power at 4 ohms

again here are the links for the lazy ppl... like me that dont want to scroll up
