Active Noise Control?!
Hold up there chief...
You dont know how i control my vehicle, nor do you know how Tommy controls his, or Pipo controls his. Our vehicles are designed to sit in side of it during a bass race run. I don't think you understand how loud these things are and how much these things move things around inside. You HAVE to sit inside these things. It's VERY easy to kill a sub if you don't know what you are listening for.If you are standing outside of the truck how can you hear a coil slapping? As Pipo said, his knobs move around inside the vehicle and it'l go louder/quieter as the subs move everything around inside, causing amps to clip out and kill subs. I'll never blow a sub, because i know what to listen for while inside the vehicle, but if you aren't inside to listen to the tell-tale signs then how are you supposed to know when your starting to hurt equipment? We are playing on the extreme side of car audio, and once you see what i have in the truck when it is 100% done you'll see why i am so concerned. A normal 'recone' won't fix my problem, looking at many thousands of dollars of tooling to make another assembly.
I've been doing meca for many many years...i got out of it when the fuse rules came around, and it continues to go south...every year. I'm going to knock it, it isn't drive by anymore. It's pull up and park and hope you don't tear something up...these vehicles that i'm talking about are NOT daily drivers, they are very very extreme. My daily driver could sit there and do it all day every day....and never have an issue. But it's besides the point, it is not drive by. Don't call it something that it isn't.
