Yesterday I finally got my new Amp, U.P.S. delivered it...It's a Lanzar MaxPro 3000 Watt 2 Channel Mosfet Amp....Well I hooked it up and I got power, power lights and everything except no sound?? the wiring is good b/c I just simply unhooked my other amp and just transfered all wires to the new amp...my other amp worked fine....I don't understand wtf is wrong, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!

this should be in diffrent section..Did you buy the amp brand new? if so did you disconnect the fuse before hooking up the new amp...all it takes is a tiny touch of a screwdriver or allen wrench touching the case to fry an amp..just a split sec. if fuse isn't out

shouldnt they have protection on the amp for that....no i didnt take out the fuse but i hooked up speaker first my ground then my remote wire then the power cable...didnt have the power and ground connected the whole time i was messing with it and i have 3 fuses on the amp and none of them or blown

thats because its a lanzar.

there isn't any protection for that in amps..The power wire should be hooked up first actually ....then the amp doesn't have any sort of ground hooked to follow current through the circuits....with the grounds hooked up up solid or through the RCA's the current has a path to flow

ring your vendor immediately try & blag a ''DOA''..... at least then you can plead ignorance & Say you want help with the set-up as you cant seem to get any sound from it.

the longer you leave it the less likely it seems (to them) that you've had an issue straight out of the box.. if you have shorted it yourself you need to start acting..lol:naughty:

the lights or on on the amp it has power and you can barely feel the sub vibrating...if i turn it up all the way it will vibrate a little harder...if the amp is fried will it do that?

and also the positive cable that goes from the amp to the battery, the fuse in it is only 40 amps. but my amplifier has 3- 30 amp fuses....Would that matter?
this is not causing your problem but you need replace that 40 with a 100 amp fuse. check your amp settings. lpf 80-100hz
