Wtf is with people's used amp prices

Wasn't directed specifically at you man. I've been looking and trying to buy one for a while now. And there's lots of people out there that think their shits made out of gold.

But now that you've brought that up..... Where are you getting $75 off? Price is $339 right now, and originally was $300 when they first came out. So not sure where you're getting $75 off.....

I don't know. I'd spend the $75 bucks and get a brand new one. I do tend to agree. Once something is bought and used, even if for a minute, it significantly goes down in value. Just the way it is.....

What this guy said^^^^^$75 (and it's less than $75 off in Bush's case here as he's only got it listed for $39 less than direct from crescendo), and I'll just buy new with a valid warranty. Stuff depreciates more than that just by installing it. Prices are nuts right now. And for the record, I offered only $89 less than I can buy it from the manufacturer. So I did not low ball the guy. That's truly what I think is a good price for it for both parties involved.

Was told the other day they were 350
I've got a quote from Crescendo, and I got it just a couple days ago. $339 from them. And they were $300 when they first came out, which is the price I assume people selling them used at this point paid.

But again, this thread was just made in general. It wasn't directed at Bush. He has the right to sell it for whatever he wants. This thread was made because I've been looking for a while now, and it's the same thing every single time.

Are you really fighting over cookie cutter amps?
It would appear so.

Also, value is relative to the community. Just because you think it is to high priced, will not mean everyone thinks so. With that being said, the community is what sets the price. If an amp will sell at a higher price, then the seller should ask that price. Even if that means they are only $15 cheaper then new. If there are buyers in the price range then that is what happens.

There are many things that will set the selling price as a whole, but WE are a big factor there.

Again, thread wasn't directed at Bush. It was in general. And all the crap you run is cookie cutter too. Dc, sundown, whatever.....all cookie cutter. Mass manufactured boards. They're quality.....but still cookie cutter.

Ex.....the guy with the dx1500.1 in the classifieds that's had his **** for sale for 6+ months, and won't sell it for $25 less than asking. Just stupid ****. There's a reason it hasn't sold.....It's listed for too much.

forum boners are always higher in price.thats the way it goes I just paid $375 for a big belle BUTT it was from db-r and had been gone through and comes with 90 day warranty.I like when people are trying to sell blown crap they only knock the price down far enough to cover the repairs and think people are going to be all over it.

its not just amps it's a lot of thing lets say a welder they are all over CL for $600 plus no bottles no carts but if you go on cyberweld you get the newer version of it for $500.you try and tell these people and they get pissed off because they paid $1000 for it 8 years ago

if i can spend around $150 more on something new i will buy it new myself.there is no use only getting $100 off retail when you are only buying someone else's problem.

now if it still has warranty and will be covered.sure i would think about it

Reading > You. I dont run DC, Sundown, etc. I run whats in my sig. Most of it has been discontinued for quite awhile with the exception of the 9887.

I whole-heartedly agree. I don't know where people get their prices. At the end of the day though, people will ask what they think they can get. But it won't be from me.

What really kills me is what people want for BLOWN amps. Lol. $500 amp - the $150 "quote" they got and they want $350. Please. Sub motors are the same way. People want basically what a fully functioning used sub would go for.

this is true^ funny thing i seen a sampson sell on ebay for $675 shipped and the same week a Goliath sold for over $800.so to me the sampson is not worth as much anymore.it's just like the economy if you get one guy that will do the job for $5 less and hour he just set the price and everyone will follow.sux but its what happened

There's a few problems with these situations. Most of the time someone buys an amp or whatever and usually wants to change it within the month. They just paid $500 and now that they're selling after only a month they feel like losing $100+ is too big of a loss. Understandable by the seller but like stated before. Especially with used electronics. Value decreases when used! Also, it depends on the going rate for a product. I recently sold a saz2500. Before putting it up, I searched the forum to see how much were they going for ($500-$550 range) so I put mine at $490 shipped to try to get a quicker sell. There's a lot that factors in the seller's price.
