WTF is up with these alien spaceship looking subwoofers? I want a classic sub!

IDK what is up with the trend to make your subwoofer look as ugly as humanly possible these days, but if the audio companies are listening listen to this:

We want a sub that looks like a sub.

How about this, you introduce a sub called the "classic" Put whatever newer technology you want into it, but leave the ugly plastic alien frames that stretch afoot and a half back or the molded cones that aren't cones anymore but are instead shaped like a chunk of playdoh that was ran through a rock tumbler than stepped on with cleats and finally attacked by a mountain lion clawing across it.

I looked and Rockford is doing the best job right now of "almost normal" subs (no dust cover, but hey its flat and round). Kicker however..... tons of disappointment. Stillwater is one of the only companies I still respect because the owner kept the company all these years and didn't sell out, but dang.... gotta get rid of those subs. By far the worst of them all right now.
