I fail.
So, I got my AQ2200 in a few days ago, but I whenever I went over a bump or something my speakers would pop and my amp would go into protect. I was like, "WTF!" I checked and double checked all of my wiring and connections and even pulled the subs out of the box to see what was what. Nothin. So, I pull the cover off my amp... Bingo!! This is what I see...

Nice, right? Is this common? I've never opened up a new AQ2200 so I don't know if they come from the factory with those two little pieces of paper preventing this from happening, but it's pretty janky if you ask me. Anyway, I'm like, "To hell with it. Let's see if this bish will play."

Right after that video I did a 143.5. The box being all crooked like that cost me those tenths. Lol. And...

Port wars ftw!!!

Lol. Anybody wanna buy an AQ2200 cheep, cheep? Before you answer that, I'm gonna wire it dowm to .25ohms for a show this weekend and see if it holds together.

is this the one you were trying to sell me???? and like the other man said how cheap??? you can put an *** whooping on it too as long as it still works

I'll give ya 3.fifty
Sold! For $350. Pm me for paypal info. Lol.

And to everyone with a WTB thread that I Pm'ed, yes this is the one I was trying to sell, but obviously I didnt' know it was like this; or it happened between now and then. I certainly wouldn't post it up if I was gonna try to sell a fvcked up amp.

If anyone is serious about buying it though, Pm me an offer.

Ouch, was the torrid actually touching the case?
Totally. When I opened it up it had two little pieces of paper glued to the inside of the cover for "insulation," I guess. Well, the glue melted or failed somehow and the paper was elsewhere inside the amp than where it should have been. You can see the one that fell off right in front of my subs and the other still on the cover in the video.

Theres no such thing as a bullet proof amp. That wire wore down due to vibration and finally shorted itself out. My aq2200 went down because of a solder joint that vibrated loose.
